Lt. Dave Barr

Lieutenant Barr began his career in 1986 as a civilian Corrections Officer and has risen through the ranks to his current position. Lt. Barr is in charge of the jail’s inmate programs and services which include overseeing the food service and building maintenance functions. Lt. Barr devotes a considerable amount of his time coordinating the activities of the jail’s inmate work program to assist with litter removal and beautification projects throughout Clermont County. He graduated from Blanchester High School and holds a B.A. in Economics from Earlham College. Dave and his wife have two children.
