Subject: Narcotics Unit Arrests Four for Trafficking Crack Cocaine
Date: February 24, 2005
Clermont County Sheriff’s Office reports that four persons were arrested on February 23, 2005 by the Clermont County Narcotics Unit upon the sale of one ounce of crack cocaine to an undercover agent.
Andrelette Shields, age 36, of 2582 Queen City Avenue, Cincinnati Ohio 45238, transported her juvenile son (a minor, name being with held ) along with two other passengers, Aleish Bonner, age 23, of 736 Mitchell Avenue, Cincinnati Ohio 45229 and Brian Brooks, age 21, of 1915 Colerain Avenue # 7, Cincinnati Ohio 45214 to the Speedway Gas Station located on Mt. Carmel Tobasco Road in Union Township, Clermont County. The juvenile then made the sale of the cocaine to the undercover agent with the knowledge of his mother and passengers. The juvenile was also in possession of an additional half-ounce of crack cocaine. All four subjects were taken into custody. The juvenile was charged with trafficking in drugs, a felony of the 1st degree, and the three adults were charged with complicity to trafficking in drugs, a felony of the 1st degree. A felony of the 1st degree carries a penalty of maximum 10 years imprisonment and a $20,000.00 fine. All three adults were scheduled for a bond hearing on February 24, 2005 at 1:00pm.
The Clermont County Narcotics Unit is comprised of officers from the Sheriff’s Office, Union and Miami Township Police Departments, and the City of Milford Police Department.
