Subject: Narcotics Unit Indicts Three on Organized Crime Statute
Date: February 24, 2005
The Clermont County Grand Jury reports that three persons were indicted on February 23, 2005 charged with Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt Activities, a felony of the 1st degree that carries a penalty of a maximum of 10 years imprisonment and a $25,000.00 fine under the organized crime statute.
Those indicted, Dan Kirchner, age 52, of 4392 Aicholtz Rd, (Union Township ) Cincinnati, Ohio 45245, Sarah Strawn ,age 27, also of 4392 Aicholtz Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45245, and Ronald Jackson, age 57, of 7421 Turnbow Ranch Rd., Dittmer, Missouri were indicted on the charges stemming from an eight month investigation into their drug activity of manufacturing and selling of methamphetamine. The Clermont County Narcotics Unit completed the investigation and reported their findings to the Grand Jury February 23, 2005. The Narcotics Unit is comprised of officers from the Sheriff’s Office, Union and Miami Township Police, and the City of Milford Police Department.
On October 8, 2003 the Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at the 4392 Aicholtz Rd, Union Township, Clermont County address where a methamphetamine lab was in operation. 171 grams of the finished product were seized at that time. Dan Kirchner, Sarah Strawn and Ronald Jackson were out on bond when it became known that the trio were still operating a methamphetamine lab at 4392 Aicholtz Rd. A second search warrant was prepared on January 14, 2005 and executed; 8 grams of methamphetamine packaged for distribution were located, along with other evidence indicating prior sales. This continued operation of illegal manufacturing of drugs after the original October 8, 2003 arrest supports the current charges under the organized crime statute.
Mr. Ronald Jackson has a previous arrest for illegal manufacturing of methamphetamine from his home state of Dittmer, Missouri. Both Ronald Jackson and Sarah Strawn may be out of state and possibly traveling back to Dittmer, Missouri area. All three subjects have yet to be arrested after several attempts on the outstanding warrant on indictments.
Previous arrest photographs are available by contacting the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, Mary Gregory at 732-7405. For additional information regarding these charges, contact Clermont County Prosecutor’s Office, Daniel “Woody” Breyer, Esq. or Darrell Hawkins, Esq. at 732-7313.
