Re: Recovered Stolen Property
The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office and Clinton County Sheriff’s Offices have been jointly working to find and recover stolen property from Clermont, Clinton, Brown, Highland and Green counties in Ohio. Information was developed through the investigation that stolen property was located at a residence on Ireland Rd. in Wilmington OH. After obtaining a search warrant for this address, a Kubota RTV reported stolen from Smith Custom Service located in Stonelick Township, Clermont County was recovered. Information led to a second RTV on Gurneyville Rd. in Clinton County which was also stolen from Smith Custom Service. Investigators determined that two juveniles were stealing the items and bringing them to Larry Strong of 2760 State Route 131 in Newtonsville, Clermont County who would sell the property, splitting the money with them.
The suspects, Larry Strong, D.O.B 9/08/72, was indicted in Clermont County and two juveniles were charged in Clinton County. You can obtain a photograph of Strong by contacting Mary Gregory at 732-7405.
The total value of the property recovered is $284,000.00. A listing of the property and the county from which it was stolen is below.

- 2 Caterpillar Skid Loaders $ 64,000
- 1 Dodge Ram 2500 Truck $ 12,000
Green County:
- 2 Gooseneck Trailers $ 15,000
