Subject: Heroin Search Warrant served in Union Township
Union Township, Clermont County - Numerous citizen complaints led to a two-month investigation of suspected drug trafficking which resulted in the execution of a search warrant at 4392 Aicholtz Road in Union Township on March 7, 2008. The Clermont County Narcotics Unit, with the assistance of the Clermont County Special Response Team, and Union Township Police, executed the warrant without incident or injury. This is the fourth such drug-related search warrant at this address over the past four years, which is used as rental property.
At the time of the search, there were six adults and one child in the residence. Agents seized two handguns, paraphernalia indicative of the sale and abuse of heroin, as well as one ounce of heroin valued at $7,000.00. Suspects have been identified as:
- Ronald Thornton, B/M 36 years old, 1598 Harvard Ave, Columbus, Ohio, charged with one count of Weapons under Disability, 2923.13
- Charles M. Walker, Jr., B/M 38 years old, 318 Park Wood Ave., Columbus, Ohio, arrested on outstanding warrants (Photograph not available at this time)
- Shawn Williams, 36 years old, 2242 Medina Ave., charged with Child Endangering, 2912.22
- Michelle Sexton, W/F 36 years old, 4392 Aicholtz Rd., Union Township two counts of Trafficking in Drugs, 2925.03.
Michelle Sexton was out of jail on bond for a 2007 arrest for Trafficking in Drugs and Possession of Drugs. The investigation into this matter is on going; anyone requesting photographs of those charged may contact Mary Gregory at 732-7405 prior to the end of business today.
