Subject: Four Arrests for Methamphetamine Processing
Date: April 1, 2005
Today, April 1, 2005, in a joint operation, the Clermont County Drug Unit and Goshen Township Police Department concluded a long term investigation with the execution of a search warrant at 1638 State Route 28 in Goshen Township. The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team assisted with the search warrant and reported no injuries or mishaps associated with this law enforcement action.
Recovered during the search of the premises was an operational methamphetamine laboratory. The lab was located in the attic of the residence. Based upon the amount of precursors discovered, the subjects were involved in the manufacture of multiple ounces of methamphetamine. Also recovered during the search was drug paraphernalia, materials used in the distribution process, and two handguns. A small amount of methamphetamine was discovered on the property as well.
At the time of the search warrant four adults were located at the residence and arrested. They are identified as:
Jonathon W. Martin / Age 21
Sarah E. Martin / Age 23
Paul E. Daniels / Age 27
Talla Lynn Ayer / Age 21
All the above reside at : 1638 State Route 28 Goshen, Ohio 45122
All four subjects were taken to the Clermont County Jail and charged with Illegal Manufacturing of Methamphetamine, a felony of the second degree. The investigation into this matter will continue. The Clermont County Narcotics Unit is comprised of officers from the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, Union and Miami Township Police Departments, and the City of Milford Police Department.
