Subject: Meth Lab knocked off in Miami Township

In the early morning hours of Friday, July 08, 2005 the Clermont County Narcotics Unit, Miami Township Police and Fire Department, and the Methamphetamine Task Force (comprised of firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel) executed a search warrant at 5585 Sugarcamp Road, Milford ,Ohio…Agents were looking for evidence of a Meth lab which had been under investigation for over a 30 day period. The Clermont County Sheriff’s Special Response Team made enter into the home without injury or incident. Agents searching the residence found residue and by products of a meth laboratory to include; sudafed, anhydrous ammonia, drain cleaner and batteries, and hydrochloric gas generators. No one was home at the time of the search, and agents spent the biggest part of the day cleaning and sanitizing the residence. Currently evidence has been packaged and transported to the crime lab for analysis; investigators will wait until the evidence has been tested before making charges in this matter. This case continues to be investigated with no further information available for release at this time.
