Re: Sheriff Raids Home in Monroe Township
The Clermont County Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at approximately 6:30AM today looking for evidence associated with the trafficking of drugs.
The search warrant served at 3159 Christine Lane, Amelia, Ohio (Monroe Township) is the primary residence of Mr. Frank V. Foster.
Narcotics officers requested the Clermont County Sheriff’s Special Response Team (SRT) to make entry into the residence; no reports of injury were noted in the after action report. Agents searched the home for several hours Friday morning and removed 2 grams of crack cocaine and other evidence associated with distribution of crack cocaine. The investigation which led to the signing of a search warrant had been on going for some time.
Currently a single felony charge has been filed in Clermont County Municipal Court; however, it is likely that additional charges may result once investigators can analyze evidence and property collected at the residence.
Frank V. Foster, 3159 Christine Lane, Amelia, Ohio 45102, M/W/ 59 years of age, was charged with (1) count of Possession of Crack Cocaine, a felony of the 5th degree.
Members of the SRT Unit noted the home was equipped with a fairly sophisticated surveillance system which monitored outside movement and activity. Photographs of Foster can be obtained by the media via Mary Gregory at 732-7405 this afternoon. The investigation is continuing in this matter; you will be updated should further information become available for release.
The Clermont County Narcotics Unit is comprised of officers from the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, Union and Miami Township Police Departments and the City of Milford Police Department.
