Re: Monroe Township Fire
Today at 1:54 PM, the Clermont County Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a structure fire at 2277 State Route 125 in Monroe Township. This is the location of Sam’s Food Mart and residential apartments located above the business.
The Monroe Township, Bethel-Tate, and Central Joint fire departments responded to the scene; Sheriff’s Office units also responded to assist.
Several minor injuries were reported. No firefighters have been reported injured at this time.
Traffic is congested on State Route 125 between Amelia and Bethel, and will be for some time. The use of alternative routes is recommended.
The origin of the fire is unknown at this time; the Clermont County Fire Investigation Team has been alerted, and will respond to the scene to investigate.
