When there are properties to be sold (current sale schedule), the Sheriff’s Office holds real estate auctions on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. in the Training Room of the Sheriff’s Office at 4470 State Route 222 Batavia, Ohio, unless otherwise ordered by the Court.
The Training Room is open for access at 9:45 AM, or 15 minutes prior to Sheriff Sale.
There are no Sheriff’s Sales on federal holidays. Sales are advertised in the Clermont Sun newspaper unless otherwise requested by the Plaintiff’s attorney. Sheriff’s Sales of Real Estate (Foreclosure) are advertised for three weeks. Tax Sales are advertised for five weeks. Properties may be withdrawn from a sale with a court order up to the time of sale.
In an effort to control ever-increasing costs, effective December 31, 2009, the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office will discontinue the practice of sending sheriff sales property advertisements to attorneys. Information about sheriff sales is available on this website.
If you have any questions, please contact the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office Civil Unit at (513) 732-7081.
NOTE: During sales, please park your vehicle in the Municipal Court parking lot.
