Warrants
In 2006 the Sheriff’s Office served over 15,000 criminal warrants generated by Clermont County Common Pleas and Municipal Courts. When received from the Clerk of Courts these warrants are logged and entered into local and national computer networks. Depending upon the nature of the criminal charge involved, the execution of a criminal warrant may involve either a summons (order) to appear in court on a designated date or a physical arrest and confinement in the Clermont County Jail.
