Williamsburg Township: The Clermont County Communication Center received a 911 call at 5:54 p.m. Wednesday March 17, 2010, reporting an injured person found at 4310 North Ellis Road, Batavia, Ohio.
Deputies and Williamsburg Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to the scene and found 50 year old Anthony E. Cox. A vehicle upon which Mr. Cox was working fell off its jack stand, landing on him.
The Coroner’s Office pronounced Cox dead upon their arrival. No foul play has been reported and the investigation will continue.
Anthony Cox had served the community of Williamsburg as a part-time EMS member for over 25 years and lived at the 4310 North Ellis Road address.
