Captain Bill Hogue began with the Sheriff’s Office in July of 1993 as a Corrections Officer. He was promoted to the rank of Corporal in 1999. He became an OPOTA certified instructor in 1999 and began teaching Subject Control/Unarmed Self Defense and Interpersonal Communication Skills. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in May of 2002. Bill became an OPOTA Certified Corrections Academy Commander in 2005. He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in 2012, and now holds the rank of Captain. He is currently in charge of Corrections Staff Training; Security Threat Group assessments; the Sheriff Trustee Program; and Inmate Programs & Services.
