New Richmond- On Wednesday, January 26th, 11 individuals were indicted by the Clermont County Grand Jury. The indictments contain 25 counts and were the result of a six month investigation by the Clermont County Narcotics Unit that concentrated on activity and suspects in and around the New Richmond area. The investigation revealed trafficking, possessing, and obtaining controlled substances. The drugs encountered included heroin, marijuana, and various pharmaceuticals.
“The investigation was initiated after receiving information and leads from village officials and police that there appeared to be a surge in drug related activity and crimes” Sheriff Rodenberg said.
“Narcotics Unit agents with the assistance of New Richmond Police Officers and Clermont County Sheriff Deputies have commenced the process of apprehending the subjects named in the indictments. Thus far (5) persons have been arrested and confined in the Clermont County jail” said Chief Deputy Rick W. Combs. “Deputies and officers will work thru the day and night until all those indicted are found and arrested” Combs said.
Following are the individuals indicted by the Clermont County Grand Jury:
Richard Matthews D.O.B. 10/25/81 of 600 Front Street New Richmond, OH 45157 was charged with one count of Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs, a third degree felony. He is currently incarcerated.
James Sipple D.O.B 07/14/44 4083 Eastwood Drive Apt #17209, Batavia, OH 45103 was charged with two counts of Trafficking in Drugs, a fifth degree felony.
Toni Mattingly D.O.B 09/20/85 312 Center Street New Richmond, OH 45157 was charged with two counts of Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs, a third degree felony, one count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a third degree felony, One count of Aggravated Trafficking of drugs, a fourth degree felony, and two counts of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a fifth degree felony.
Robin Egan D.O.B. 01/31/73 312 Center Street New Richmond, OH 45157 was charged with two counts of Trafficking in Drugs, a fourth degree felony, one count of Aggravated Trafficking in drugs, a third degree felony, one count of Aggravated Trafficking in drugs, a fourth degree felony, and two counts of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a fifth degree felony. Egan is currently in the Clermont County Jail.
Phyllis Boehm D.O.B. 09/06/58, address unknown was charged with one count of Trafficking in Drugs, a fifth degree felony.
Derek Donell D.O.B. 08/27/90, 205 Main Street New Richmond, OH was charged with one count of Trafficking in Drugs, a fourth degree felony.
Cody C. Boehm D.O.B. 09/22/87, 114 Plenty Street, New Richmond, OH was charged with one count of Trafficking in drugs, a third degree felony and is currently in prison.
Christen Boone D.O.B. 12/24/85, 4631 Old US 68, Ripley, OH was charged with Possession of Drugs, a fifth degree felony.
Sara Isaac D.O.B. 10/05/92, 704 Front Street, New Richmond, OH was charged with Illegal Processing of Drug Documents, a fourth degree felony, and is in the Clermont County Jail.
Brian Yauger D.O.B 12/27/83, 906 Front Street, New Richmond, OH 45157 was charged with one count of deception to Obtain a Dangerous Drug, a fourth degree felony.
Kevin Morris D.O.B. 03/25/68 of 14 Montgomery Way #2 Amelia, OH 45102 was previously arrested after being charged with four counts of Aggravated Trafficking in drugs, a fourth degree felony.
