Williamsburg Township- Today, Tuesday May 8th at 10:39 am Clermont Co. Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to 4120 West Fork Ridge Road, Williamsburg Township, to check on the welfare of Tonya M. Carver, 42 years of age.
This report came from a 3rd party caller to the Clermont County Emergency Communication Center concerned for Ms. Carvers’ safety and medical condition. Upon arrival at the scene Deputies found Ms. Carver in a camper behind the residence 4120 West Fork Road and observed her holding a firearm.
A perimeter surrounding the area was set, and Ms. Carver was engaged in conversation in an attempt to have her come out of the camper and surrender the firearm. After approx 4 hours Ms. Carver came out, surrendered the weapon, a loaded 9 mm automatic pistol, and was taken into custody without incident or injury.
She was transported to Clermont Mercy Hospital for evaluation and assessment. Criminal charges are under consideration and may be filed after she is released from the hospital
