About the Junior Police Academy:
Each year the Clermont County Sheriff's Office partners with the Boys and Girl's Club of Clermont County and other local police, fire and emergency service agencies to offer week long Junior Police Academy Summer Camps for boys and girls ages 13 to 17. This program provides a unique experience for youth and law enforcement personnel as the teens are taught basic law enforcement skills and techniques.
JPA cadets learn about law enforcement, teamwork, respect, and positive behavior through hands on interaction with local, state, and federal police & fire/life agencies.
Academies are being offered this year to attendees of the following schools:
June 13 thru June 17 (West Clermont School District- Middle or High Schools)
June 20 thru June 24 (Williamsburg Middle or High School)
July 18 thru July 22 (Goshen Middle or High School)
If your children (age 13-17) attends one of the schools above (or is home schooled in an above district), they are eligible to attend the session for that district. An application may be picked up at the appropriate school office.
