Meth Lab Search Warrants

Last night, Tuesday April 13, 2010 a combined law enforcement operation involving a number of agencies focused upon two active meth labs in the northern part of Clermont County.

On Tuesday evening, the Hamilton County Drug Abuse and Resistance Task Force (DART) and the Clermont County Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at 6521 Arborcrest Drive, Loveland, Ohio.

The warrant was obtained and executed after Paul Bryant (aka) “Pig”, age 43, of 26936 Whiteshill Road, West Harrison, Indiana, was stopped by drug agents and uniformed police. During this stop a mobile methamphetamine laboratory was discovered in the bed of his Chevy pickup truck.  Bryant was arrested for an outstanding child support warrant.  The discovery and investigation involving his possession of the Meth lab and related materials may result in additional charges.

Additionally, Kathryn McKinney, age 40, was arrested in the residence where the search warrant was executed.  She was found in possession of a small quantity of Methamphetamine and charged with Illegal Assembly, a felony of the 3rd degree.  There were also chemicals for producing Methamphetamine located in the basement of the residence at 6521 Arborcrest Drive. Both subjects were transported to the Clermont County Jail.  Jail booking photos of Bryant and McKinney are available by calling Mary Gregory at 732-7405.

Another search warrant was executed at 376 Branch Street, Loveland, Ohio where a quantity of items used in the production of Methamphetamine was seized. Evidence was also present that indicated abuse and trafficking in Heroin.

There were two children, aged 5 and 7, present in the residence at the time the search warrant was executed, and they were released to relatives pending further investigation and assessment by Children’s Protective Services.

Arrested was Kathryn Littne, age 26, of 376 Branch Street.  She was charged with Possession, a felony 5, and Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.  Harry Lofland III, age 32, also of 376 Branch Street was charged with one count of Possession, a felony 5.  Both were transported to the Hamilton County Justice Center for confinement.

The investigation is continuing and in the early stages, with more arrests possible at a future date.  Drug agents were assisted in the investigations by officers from the Miami Township Police Department, City of Montgomery Police Department, and the Miami Township Fire Department.
