Enhanced Services

Several political subdivisions within Clermont County have secured enhanced law enforcement coverage for their citizens through contracts with the Sheriff’s Office. Currently there are a total of four such jurisdictions that have contractual coverage: Batavia Township, Monroe Township, Franklin Township and Washington Township. The contract cars provide additional hours of law enforcement services for the contracting jurisdictions. Contract Deputies are available to the contracting entity for enhanced patrol, traffic enforcement, and community events. A significant amount of the costs associated with contractual law enforcement services have been covered through U.S. Department of Justice COPS grants.
